ASSOCIATION FOR VALUE-BASED CANCER CARE™ Announces Trisha Sullivan as Executive Director

Cranbury, New Jersey, September 16, 2013—The Association for Value-Based Cancer Care (AVBCC) is pleased to announce that Trisha Sullivan has been named as its Executive Director. In this role, Ms. Sullivan will be responsible for the day-to-day direction of AVBCC’s activities, as well as driving key initiatives to advance AVBCC’s mission.

Ms. Sullivan, extremely pleased to have been named Executive Director, says, “I look forward to growing with AVBCC and to help maintain and expand this forum in which various stakeholders collaborate regarding this very timely and important issue.” Ms. Sullivan has been involved in improving the care of patients for the past 15 years through educational, industry, and nonprofit initiatives and is a melanoma cancer survivor.

Ms. Sullivan joins Dr. Craig Deligdish, Dr. Gary Owens, and Mr. Burt Zweigenhaft, Program Chairs of AVBCC, in leading and growing AVBCC as the primary organization for value-based and market access issues in oncology.

“The addition of Trisha is a tremendous asset to continue the momentum and growth of AVBCC into 2014 and beyond. I look forward to working closely with Trisha to continue to grow AVBCC and provide an invaluable resource to our members,” stated Mr. Zweigenhaft. “We look forward to working with her closely to provide our members with important resources in addition to our annual conference on May 6-9, 2014, in Los Angeles, California.”
